My first experience driving the FCEV Equinox was very impressive. It rode very quietly and smoothly with good acceleration.
There were a lot of puzzled looks when I pulled up to our high school softball team practice. Many of the girls asked a lot of questions, and I realized that very little information has reached them to this point. Even the other coaches knew very few alternative energy facts. The more answers I gave, the more interest was generated.
The branding turned a lot of heads while driving around Bethlehem that evening. With the windows down, I heard a pedestrian at a corner say to his partner “that car runs on nitrogen!” I leaned out and said “it’s hydrogen, dude!” and we smiled and waved at each other.
I’m anxious to spread the word further!
